In the afternoon of Jul.9th, the Party branch of Overseas Education College

convened the special meeting of democratic life according to the educational

practice activities of Party’s mass line arranged by our university Party.

The meeting was hosted by Luo Ying, dean of Overseas Education College and

the Party branch secretary of the college. Vice president Li Shunxing and the supervisor Chen Huiqing were present to guide.

At the beginning, the college dean Luo Ying gave a report about personal

contracting checking. He examined seriously the situation about himself in

observing Party’s political principle and implementing the Party’s eight rules.

He analyzed the problems about ‘four winds’: the wind of formalism, bureaucratism,

hedonism and luxury and pointed out the causes as well as how to reform in the future.

Then, all the members of college Party branch gave contracting checking one

by one, carrying out criticism and self-criticism. Everyone opened their mind to each other and talked straight,

confronted with contradictions and defects with specific examples. All the

members checked the ‘four wind’ problem in thought, working, personal style

and other aspects, analyzing deeply about the causes and put forward the reform

direction and specific measures.

At last, Vice-president Li Shunxing summed up this meeting and pointed out requirement for the

further education practice activities. He said, everyone carried out deeply and

frankly criticism and self-criticism in the meeting and put forward specific reform measures, which showed

you positive attitude. This meeting is very successful, which made everyone found

out their defects and became a better Party member. For the next work, he said,

every member must accept the criticism from other people to perfect the contracting

checking material, lay the foundation for the following reform, and pave the way for

developing work with creativity and improve work efficiency.
