On Jul.6th, more than a hundred Taiwan college students visited Ninnan Normal University for communication during their Fujian Trip.

Ten o’clock in the morning, over a hundred college students from 32 Taiwan universities such as the National Chengchi University (NCCU) and the Fu Jen Catholic University (FJU) visited our campus and took a group photo with our school leaders for commemoration. Later on, accompanied by Luo Ying, the president of Overseas Education College of our university and some other people, they visited the historical and cultural attraction TianLuoKeng TuLou to touch the Minnan culture, and had gathering and communication with the mainland students. The Taiwan students stayed at TaXia village that night and enjoyed the party prepared by our teachers and students. Children from TaXia Primary School and kingergarten gave wonderful performance and won warm applause. The folk miraculous person Li Fuyuan who can play five musical instruments at the same time performed The Song of TuLou, which surprised all the people presented there and made the party air high to the top. The TuLou puppetry artists put on the folk puppetry which has been inherited for thousand years. The artists also taught the Taiwan students how to perform the puppetry step by step and students all itched to try. When the party ended, students visited the firefly park accompanied by the staff. Since many of them grow up in the city, it was a good chance for them to hug the nature again.

This Summer Camp is organized by Fujian Education Department, undertook by Cross-strait Collaborating Center of Vocation and Education Exchange, Taiwan MuDuo Society and some universities of Fujian province. Since the opening ceremony in Fujain University of Technology on Jul.3rd, the Taiwan students have communicated with many universities like Fujian Normal University and Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine under the theme ‘Fujian native culture trip’. They also visited Fujian scenic spots from North to South. During the trip, students acquired the knowledge of local culture and increased the relationship between them.
